  • What categories of reports does MV Insights offer?

    MV Insights offers three categories of reports: clinical, administrative, and operational. There are numerous reports within each category, which together provide multi-patient statistics and metrics that support analysis of various aspects of hospital care and formulation of administrative strategies to offer better services to patients.

  • Do I need to upgrade my MetaVision to be able to use MV Insights?

    No, you should not need to upgrade. MetaVision Insights works with both MV5 and MV6.

  • How are the reports in MV Insights different than MV reports?

    MetaVision reports are for a specific patient. In contrast, reports in MetaVision Insights are for multiple patients in one or more departments and are used for data driven decision making.

  • What are the technical requirements for implementing the solution?

    Implementing MetaVision Insights requires installing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and installing the MetaVision Reporting Server on a separate SQL instance from the SSRS installation. The two are then connected using a script provided by iMDsoft.

  • Can I add reports I create myself to the library?

    At this time, users cannot create reports for addition to the reports library. iMDsoft may add more reports in the future, based on the needs of our partners and customers.

  • Can reports be exported / printed?

    Yes, they can. MetaVision Insights reports can be printed and exported in a number of formats, including PDF and Microsoft Excel.

  • Can I connect multiple databases to the solution?

    Currently, MetaVision Insights connects to a single database, and connection to multiple databases is not supported.
