iMDsoft introduces MobileVision for Nurses, for better on the go decision making and enhanced patient care
Tel Aviv, Israel, February 1, 2024 – iMDsoft, a global leader in clinical information systems for critical care, announced the launch of MobileVision, an intuitive, front-end mobile app designed to enable nurses to access patient data and make decisions on the go.
Complementing the MetaVision desktop application, MobileVision provides nurses with on-the-spot access to patient information. It assists at every stage of a nurse’s workday in critical care settings and general wards, covering all essential workflows from start of shift start to handover.
With overburdened nursing staff and time-sensitive critical care workloads, focusing on the best possible patient care can be extremely challenging for nurses. By making patient records and key workflows available on the move during rounds or from any other location, even in areas with limited connectivity, MobileVision makes nurses’ lives easier, and supports efforts to provide timelier patient care.
Building on iMDsoft’s more than 25 years of expertise and experience in the highest-acuity environments in hospitals, MobileVision provides nurses precisely the information and tools they need to perform key workflows quickly and effectively. It facilitates effective shift planning, enables accurate, closed-loop medication management, supports efficient nursing rounds, and enhances shift handover. In environments where every second counts, MobileVision enables faster and more informed decision.
The intuitive interface, with tap and swipe functionality already familiar to any smart phone user, makes finding and recording patient data fast and easy. Nurses can scan barcodes and images for documentation on the go and use the device camera and speech-to-text, to capture and transmit images and information at the point of care. Powerful and robust data security is built in, protecting the privacy and integrity of patient records.
“Having transformed virtually every aspect of our daily life and work across number industries, mobile apps have huge potential to help make healthcare delivery more effective and efficient,” said Recheli Shaked Mildworth, SVP Sales & Marketing, at iMDsoft. “With MobileVision, we are putting essential information into nurses’ hands exactly where and when they need it, saving them time and effort. Most importantly, MobileVision empowers them to focus more on taking care of their patients. This is just our first step in extending the proven benefits of our MetaVision platform into the mobile sphere, to further boost clinical excellence and productivity, as well as operational efficiency.”
